This image is a close up of some rope. Because of how close the image is, we can see all the individual strands that make up the rope and by seeing all these strands it's very clear that it makes up the texture of the rope that by seeing it, we can all imagine the texture. The tones that the light and shadows make, creates an effect on the individual strands which makes the texture more distinct.
I like how the fact this image was taken at a close position to the ball, we can clearly see all the dirt and cracks on the dirt that emphasizes the uneven and rough texture of the surface. Although the top left edge of the ball has quite a softer and smoother texture, this could be because the focus is not on this point of the image so the picture isn't as sharp. I like this picture as the surface is very detailed and we wouldn't normally see a ball with this much detail.
This texture is clearly fur which a lot of people would straight away recognize when seeing this image. The individual hairs complete the texture and the way the are laying suggests a smooth fur.
This image is a close up of a drain with dry and old paint. I like this image as there are almost two textures. The texture of the actual drain which is created by the pattern on it, and the texture of the paint that's cracking and drying up.
I like how this image contains 3 different, yet similar textures of the surface of crocodiles. This texture is quite unique and it's quite recognizable as being of crocodiles however the detail of the markings and patterns that this image portrays is very sharp and distinct.
